Scappatella: Italian for "escapade", defined as "an adventurous, unconventional act or undertaking".
Translations from Italy:
Roberta, our cousin, writes: "the name scappatella is very lovely because it reminds of the theme of the trip; journey, but with a little bit of intrigue as the secret escapade of two lovers".
But according to Marco, our Roman friend, scappatella means an affair, more commonly known as, "a quickie in the bushes!"
